"We loved our stay at Mercedes Country House! The staff is all so friendly, everything was very clean, the restaurant was amazing - we chose to eat there everyday, and the entire property is beautiful! We hope to one day make it back :)"

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"The host and welcome gift were exceptional! The home was a nice, traditional family home and had a beautiful yard and was a short walk to everything in Furnas. We were there in March, and it was very cold and windy the day we arrived. We were able to move some space heaters around to get things warm. The space was larger than we needed for my two kids and I, and it would be perfect for smaller group like us or larger family. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear...

"Check-In lief super mit Infos per Mail. Grundsätzlich sehr ruhige und geräumige Unterkunft. Jedoch waren einige Hunde in der Nachbarschaft, die den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht durchgebellt haben. Das hat die Idylle ein bisschen gestört. "

"It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."
