Relaxing retreat

Was very happy with the home and its location. We were visiting our daughter in Portland and it was 20 minutes from downtown. Home was also a great place to visit in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all our cooking needs and home was very clean.And the view of the river was beautiful. Loved all the windows.

The beds are very comfortable. The views are amazing. The living room and dining room is great for visiting. The built-in hallway beds are a special touch. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher all work well!

Well-furnished in peaceful setting

The property is in a very quiet area, right next to the river. The house is well-furnished with quality couches, beds, appliances, etc. Charming house, very comfortable for our family of 4. Could easily hold more comfortably. Easy check-in (key-less entry) and check-out (strip beds, start dishwasher).

Cozy home on the Clackamas River

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and cozy home perched above the Clackamas River. The house is very nicely updated while retaining the charm of its years. It was clean, and all the furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed. The location was great, allowing us to visit the falls and the Fruit Loop during the day, and dine in town in the evening. We would definitely stay here again-

A beautiful, serene setting right on the river, cottage with lovely old flair and beautiful upgrades to compliment . We loved every minute, especially the wonderful morning goodbye from the eagle couple on the river!!! Can’t wait to return! Thank you!!

Drifting, soaring, scrambling

We enjoyed the mix of vintage and modern decor. It was fun to watch boaters on the river and and the bald eagle in the tree on the other side. Getting back out on the road would have been easier if the top end of the driveway was less sreep at the top.

The whole house could stand a deep cleaning - cobwebs in every corner, brown (formerly white) bathroom grout, visible dust bunnies and dust covering vent registers. We were constantly harassed by stink bugs, climbing in through drafty window seals and flying about. It didn’t feel clean. Lighting was also very dim throughout the home, except for the kitchen. It’s got potential, but needs a deep clean to make it worth its price.

Relaxing retreat, river views, close to city

We enjoyed our stay for a staff retreat. The space worked out well for informal living room discussion and collaborations and the dining room table for more formal conversations. The space is quaint, clean, and beautifully situated for watching the river and unplugging. It is wonderfully situated for a quick trip into old town Oregon City to the food trucks or walking around. Our contact was quick to respond. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great Little Hideaway

Home was clean, well maintained, great place for a family or small group of people to spend quality time with. Very cozy. My only suggestion would be is to have more cooking utensils and pots/pans available as well as a few supplies like paper towels, napkins and Clorox wipes. Also, the walkway to the entry could use more lighting. But I believe the owners are working on landscaping in 2023. Otherwise, will absolutely stay there again.

Gorgeous cottage with amazing river view

Such a charming cottage that has recently been renovated with thoughtful details! Clean and comfortable beds. The view of the river is a beautiful backdrop. Located in a quiet area that's still accessible to restaurants & fun places to explore. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful, quiet cabin

This is a beautiful cabin, updated, comfortable and charming. The river location is serene, and it feels very private even though it’s just a quick drive from town & the freeway. We enjoyed our stay!
