“Absolutely wonderful place! The owner Ron made checking in an absolute breeze, and was there to greet my wife and I at the door. The Mansion is an absolute beauty inside, very well kept, and just reeks of pre Civil War beauty, that one would expect. We were treated to a sit down Breakfast, (don't even think normal hotel stuff) this was made to order, by the innkeeper, who was an absolutely wonderful lady and hostess. This will now be my permanent go-to stay, while in the Louisville area!”

“Great spacious suite. Breakfast was ok. Patio area was excellent but necessary to bring your own drinks and food since there is no restaurant. Parking was convenient but not cheap. Great location downtown.”

“This property had a lot of strange odor. Our original room had an off odor (sort of like dog) and the receptionist was able to get us into another room. The second room still had an odor but at this point we decided to live with it. The lobby had an overpowering fragrance odor that could not avoided. It kind of made us wonder if they were trying to cover up some other bad odors. The rooms were clean except the floors were very dirty. Dirty floors were evident in the hallways and elevators as……

“Great place near quite a few shops and restaurants. Close enough to downtown. Breakfast was nice and everyone was very welcoming.”

“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in……

“Hi, real quick. The pool bar had no staff there the entire stay. The "market " had a private function and we were unable to get a coffee or a grab and go sandwich. There were no notice of either amenities being closed. We had to leave the hotel and go to the Marriott for dinner one night because EVERYTHING was closed to the public, even though we were guests for 8 days there. Next time we'll choose a better place with amenities that actually are for all the guests of the hotel”

Great self-contained room with everything Nulu has to offer on your doorstep..1st night there was some live music going on at across the street at Taj bar which kept me awake , but apart from that little bump i cannot fault the room... they have lots more in the back further away from street so worth checking. Excellent stay and will def return if im back !!”

“This is an older property in downtown Louisville that is fully maintained. We loved the location which was centrally located for bourbon hunting. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at this property again.”
