We enjoyed our stay at Victoria House 1. It is in a perfect location within the city and a very nice accommodation. There is not a washer/dryer in the house, but available at another location, if needed.

Very Cute Place, but we are the problem.

The team was very nice and friendly to help check in and out given the circumstances surrounding the location and construction nearby. I did not like how the listing said "Private Parking" which is a lie and should say "Free Public Parking" which would be honest. Fortunately, Nuno helped us get there and park, but where I parked aparently was the urinal and there was urine on my car that I had to wash off. So "Private" it was not, it was a latrine. As far as the unit, it is cute and was 100% accurate and we did enjoy the amenties and location. We wont be staying at units like this tho anymore as someone here in the USA who cannot afford rent, WE ARE THE PROBLEM IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD BY SUPPORTING SHORT TERM RENTALS AND PROMOTING HOMELESSNESS. I was unaware I was staying at a property that has purchased the whole block and has displaced at least 40 to 50 people because of corporate greed. TIME WE CHANGE THE LAWS!

Prime location!

Ideally located for our visit to Porto. The flat was clean, quiet, comfortable with plenty of space for four adults. Check-in was easy. Verónica met us at the door, made sure we were familiar with the apartment, and answered all questions. She then directed me to convenient nearby parking. She was immediately available for my additional questions. It truly was centrally located and we were able to walk to all sights. Note that all streets and sidewalks are steep, but that is Porto. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful home

This was a wonderful place to stay and we’d stay again. It is technically 1.5 baths since 2 bath was without shower or tub. Was not a problem for us.

Lovely property... BUT street was a problem for us

Everything was really nice about this place BUT showstopper noise issue for us... unit was nice/ clean, good location and walking distance to the Ctr of Porto. On the positive, The unit was lovely -nicely decorated and had all the amenities provided (even coffee,tea) and a combo entry lock which was nice, BUT a showstopper for us was the noise and ‘ranting’ from homeless people across the narrow lane. Also note that the twin beds are more suitable for children-I found the bed uncomfortable. Unfortunately The unit has ZERO noise insulation from the street outside.. We clearly heard people walking/talking as they passed literally the other side of the outside wall/windowS. I fully acknowledge that the owners have little control over this issue however we wouldn’t stay here again because of it. Owners were responsive. On another note, we had no wifi for our 4 day stay which we were compensated for but nonetheless, it was a big pain having no internet; not sure if it’s a chronic issue or not however thought I’d mention it.

Porto

The location of the apartment was great to be in the center of the city. We were able to walk everywhere. The sidewalk street is busy with people walking all hours of the day. Having the AC on at night was our white noise.

Beautiful 2 br with everything you need

Property manager was available to us to find it (a little hard to find), extra towels etc. the place is just as advertised. On a fairly steep cobblestone hill which wasn’t a problem for us. Beautiful mix of old and new, nice and clean, everything in working order. A little noisy in the evening with the neighbors but we slept wonderfully with all the walking we did. .

A casa é linda, limpa, espaçosa, porém a localização é duvidosa. Apesar de estar localizada próxima de muitos pontos turísticos, a rua tem vários usuários de drogas pesadas. Como fiquei hospedada com filhos pequenos, ficamos bastante preocupados. Lugar bem difícil de estacionar.

Amazing Porto apartment

Loved this apartment. Clean, beautiful, easy to check in and check out. When we had a problem with the washer/dryer, someone was there to help within 10 minutes! Perfect for our family of four.

Nice house, good location close to all

Nothing is to much for Veronica. The taxi we asked for was strictly on time. The house clean and nice neighbors to help if needed. The city is very nice and can by seen by walking but be prepared to climb steep roads. An A+ for all Thanks for all

Satisfaisant mais bruyant

Maison conforme aux photos de l annonce. Très propre. Très bien placée. Veronica reste disponible et á notre écoute. Seul bémol, dans la rue plusieurs maisons sont en rénovation et ont perturbé notre séjour par le bruit très tôt le matin et dans la journée. C est dommage nous attendions plus de calme.

Great house but not location

The house is absolutely lovely. It’s clean, comfortable, well equipped, fabulous air conditioning and the host is in regular contact to make sure all is well. However there are some significant downsides to this property that should be mentioned (I feel bad for the host because they are things are probably beyond their control but I wish we’d known & were in other reviews): - the host did not let us know how to get into the house until the day we were due to arrive. It’s always nice to know these details before you arrive to give peace of mind that you have rented from a reliable owner. - We had two homeless people sleeping directly outside the house all three nights we were there. There were people doing hard drugs on the road (not nice to walk your childen past) and there was a lot of shouting during the night.

Apartment with charm in Old Town Porto

The apartment was very special, set in a traditional building, with the interior modern, very clean and is very well equipped. Our family of 4 really enjoyed really our stay. The location is so central to every treasure in Porto. Located in a typically residential laneway, cobbled and steep but full of charm, so you get a small taste of the Porto lifestyle. There are lots of restaurants scattered in the surrounding streets as well as a series of convenient stores. Veronica the owner is extremely helpful and readily available if we had any queries. She was kind enough to organise our transfer to the airport on departure, which was really appreciated given we don't speak Portuguese . We had very a memorable stay. Thankyou Veronica.

Beautiful house in the old town

The location is ideal being very central and within walking distance to the old town and the house is lovely. You can tell that it has been lovingly restored, but there are a few things that are starting to get a bit tired (tiles coming off the wall in the shower for instance). We didn't really use the kitchen but it was well equipped and the layout of the house was really comfortable. The neighbors were also very nice and definitely kept an eye on the street! Veronica was wonderful and understanding and we would highly recommend staying here! We would stay here again for sure!

Perfect property in perfect location

Comfy, Homey and Superb Location

Veronica is so responsive and helpful. The apartment was a welcome respite from running around beautiful and hilly Porto. Had all the amenities we love---like a dishwasher, Wifi and a coded door--not having to keep track on your keys is a real asset. Everything looks sparkly new. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
