Azaming palace, love to come back again

This place is a palace with lot of space for everyone, lot of activities for all ages. play area awesome. All rooms and palace is neat and clean, we all enjoyed staying here and love to comeback again for our vacation. Sarrounding nature is awesome

Great for a Bachelorette weekend

Perfect place for a large group of us. Still felt private enough because most people got their own bedrooms. Plenty of spaces to gather and enjoy activities in the common spaces.

Great experience

The house is huge, lots of room for the family to stretch around , lots of privacy, car parking, not to even mention the giant kitchen space to cook! I loved the place and will highly recommend your stay here !

Perfect venue

This venue was incredible. We used as much of the venue as we could and yet there was still so much space. This was great as we could really spread out in a way we often cannot at other venues. The amenities were great, the rooms were all incredible, and the kitchen was large enough for many of us to cook in at the same time. The theater room was a highlight and really sold movie night. I'm definitely going to have to stay here again!

Outstanding location, excellent support and communication with the host.

This property is one-of-a-kind! Not only is the facility something to behold, with it's amenities and services, but the support and communication from the host is outstanding. They were very responsive to all our needs and provided an amazing weekend stay that will not be forgotten. All we can say is if you get a chance to stay at the Nordic Hill Manor, do so! You will not regret it.

Magical stay

My friends and I had an absolutely magical stay at Nordic Hill Manor! It is a literal castle and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The house was clean and well-appointed, and the host was responsive and helpful! 10/10 would definitely come back here again! (We're already talking about it. 😊)

Amazing house for our whole family

We loved the common areas, interesting notes and crannies, the many bedrooms, and the many baths. The kitchen was perfect for us to prepare large meals, and having three refrigerators was a huge help with some of the food that we picked up for a big meal. Same for the multiple ovens, a huge asset. The design has some charming themes, inside and out, and the parking was plentiful. The location is close enough to some great hikes, and Poulsbo was a nice place to go for lunch and a little bit of shopping. The owner was incredibly responsive, and overall it was a great experience!

Amazing Mansion

The mansion was spacious and had plenty of rooms for everyone. My friends and family had a great time using the various amenities, especially the theater and the hot tub. The owner also went the extra mile to accommodate us, even going as far as to bring us an extension chord to help out. I would highly recommend this place for anyone hosting friends and family for a weekend.

Magical Experience

Our stay was simply perfect. The manor has every amenity we could dream of and for our really large party of people there was a place for each person to find a comfortable spot. Some people preferred socializing at the bar section while others needed to retreat to the massive theater. It was so nice to let the kids run wild through the fields and along the giant chess set. This is the ideal location for people to be together but always find a place they can duck out and relax. It feels like it's own magical kingdom. I simply cannot recommend this venue enough!

Great Modern "Castle"

More bedrooms than you can shake a stick at. All really good finishes. The bar is the best I've ever seen. Plenty of space for kids to run around and hang out in the movie theater room. Most bedrooms have their own bathroom. This is a great place if you can afford it. 15 minutes from downtown Poulsbo which one of the most amazing small towns in Washington.

Fantastically Fun!

Staying at the Nordic Hill Manor was incredibly fun. Our large group was able to fit easily and we had plenty of space to hang out without feeling too on top of one another. We enjoyed using the very well stocked kitchen and even watched a movie in the theater. The great room made gathering as a group very simple and the dining area was able to accommodate and seat everybody. We enjoyed finding everyone's perfect glass in the bar area and overall had an amazing time. Heinz was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. He also went above and beyond to mail us an item we'd left behind. Overall I would gladly stay here again and I am very grateful to have found such a lovely place with such a warm host to spend our weekend.

Amazing Experience

We spent the weekend with friends and family, everyone loved this place. It has a beautiful view and everything we needed for a big group. The hot tub was lovely and we all had fun playing bartender while hanging out around the bar. My nephew who visited for one of the days thought this was place the coolest maze, I think some of the adults thought that at times too! This was a really memorable experience for us and we were sad to check out. I hope to spend time here again for another reunion.

Amazing & Perfect 80th Surprise Birthday Weekend!

We had the privilege of staying at Heinz & KJ’s place for our dad’s 80th birthday. The spacious and well-designed venue was ideal for the occasion. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed watching movies in the theater and competing in pool tournaments on the pool table. The fully stocked kitchen and the buffet-style dining area made the meal a delightful experience. Heinz, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering our questions and providing valuable recommendations. Heinz and KJ truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and left a little something special for our dad, which he was very grateful for. Heinz & KJ - THANK YOU!! For helping and being a part of our Dads 80th! The weekend was perfect.

Absolutely delightful!

There were so many amenities we didn't even have time to take advantage of them all during our three day stay. Spacious and gorgeous, the manor comfortably held all 14 of us with room to spare. There was plenty of privacy in addition to common areas where we could gather. It was everything I saw online while booking and more!! From fresh flowers throughout the main floor to custom cookies welcoming us, the hosts have thought of everything. Our group was impressed and delighted from the moment we walked in the door. Love love love it.

Getaway of a Lifetime!

We held our family reunion here with 18 of us ranging from 2 years old up to 76. This was an amazing place to stay. Besides it being large enough for all of us to have rooms and not need to share bathrooms, it is absolutely stunning! From the decorations, to the entertainment. The pool table, game tables, massage chairs, and hot tub were all fun but the highlight was the movie theater! That was the coolest thing ever! And there is an elevator which was a huge surprise for those that struggle with stairs! Big thumbs up and no complaints!!!

Corporate Retreat at the Comfy Castle

Overall, house was wonderful and fully equipped. Immense space and tons of areas to explore. Rooms are well stocked and equipped, there is literally something for everyone.There is a fully equipped bar area, very large dinning room. Home was lovingly quaint, impressive and inviting. Beautiful kitchen with everything you could ever need, including 2 ovens a large stove and even a ice cream maker, just really great amenities. Very spacious and comfortable. All of our needs were met. And as an added bonus the back of the house is a host to many, many, many frogs who lovingly sang us to sleep, lol. Thank you sooo much

This place "gets it"

Nordic Hill Manor gets it, when it comes to providing an escape from the ordinary, and a beautiful venue for any type of event. I was pleasantly surprised from the minute I drove up the drive and saw the tower of the castle. Upon entering the front door, I felt like I was royalty. The guest rooms are spacious and provide more than enough room to spread out and get comfortable. The bathrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen has everything (yes, everything) a gourmet chef needs to prepare an exquisite breakfast, luncheon or dinner. When it comes to relaxation, the massage chairs, hot tub and theater provide more than enough of an escape. We were at Nordic Hill Manor for my daughter's wedding, and I'd love to come back for each and every anniversary celebration.

Nordic Hill Manor 2024 Reunion

This was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a “real castle”. This 10,000 square foot property had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and space to keep our family group of 14 happy for two days and nights. We loved the grand staircase, beautiful bar area, fantastic kitchen where we all prepared meals together, huge dinning room that seats 25 where we played games laughing and having fun for hours. Did I mention the elevator, theater, spa in the turret or the massage chairs which we loved. We also took advantage of the extra large outdoor chess and checkers boards along with horse shoe pits. Yes there were minor maintenance issues which did not impact our overall enjoyment of the property and they have been communicated with the host.

What an Incredible Place!!!

The Nordic Hill Manor was the perfect place to house all of our family for a wedding. We were absolutely amazed when we entered the mansion. The place was huge and there were pleasant surprises around every corner. It was like going on a treasure hunt as we discovered each room. The main living area is gigantic and has a great bar area. There are two full sized kitchens, a theater and a separate television room and a hottub. The place was spotless and was equipped with any amenities you could possibly need. As soon as we checked in we started brainstorming about future events that would give us an excuse to come back. If it were possible to give the Nordic Hill Manor 10 stars, we would. Many thanks to the very hospitable hosts, Heinz and KJ. They were excellent at communicating so that our needs were met.

Great place!

We had four different families in the house. All had plenty of room. We even had enough for an 18-year-old that wanted his own room unexpectedly when we arrived. Definitely would love to go back. Lots of stuff to do around the property from hiking to playing the yard games to watching movies to playing all of the fun pool and billiard games downstairs. The bar was a great place to gather before dinner and have a cocktail with the adults as the kids played around the house. The owner of the property came and filled the hot tub and made sure it was up to temp. Very responsive and helpful. The kitchen was nicely stocked with tools and equipment to use. A relatively short drive to downtown Poulsbo which is a great community to walk around in and look at the shops and the water. We also went to Bainbridge Island. Though that was a much busier area to be still beautiful and close to get to. That being said there's plenty to do at the house and not really a necessity to leave but nice that there are places around that are fun to explore. Thank you for sharing this property with the public and allowing us to create some family memories. We look forward to coming back! We look forward to coming back!

Once in a lifetime castle experience to create unique and lasting memories.

This property was perfect for our Family Reunion. Jaws dropped as we pulled up to this ideal setting. You could feel the attention to detail in every room through the artwork and decor. There was so much space for our 14 guests with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There was great entertainment inside and out. We enjoyed the horseshoes and volleyball court, giant chess set and exploring the trails. The shuffleboard & pool tables were fun. We had a wonderful time gathering together in the theater room and watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. The massage chairs and indoor hot tub were a hit. The sound system with speakers in the yard was fantastic. There was ample room for parking several vehicles. We have stayed in many VRBOs where the garbage was overflowing before we even arrived. This property had garbage dumpsters large enough for all our trash. The owner, Heinz, was a pleasure to work with. He responded to all my questions promptly from the time we booked the property and throughout our stay. We had a power outage for several hours one day and he kept me updated with notifications from PSE. He also sent me a message when our house was ready for early check-in. That was terrific because our guests were eager to get settled in this once in a lifetime castle experience. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious enough to make cooking together enjoyable. Check-in & out was also a breeze which we appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay. We Highly recommend.

Lovely Spot for a Family Gathering

We decided to do a micro-wedding here with only close friends and family without seeing the place in person, and we are so glad we did! This spot has everything and more that we needed for bartending, cooking, relaxing, and entertainment. You can tell the place has been well loved and used over the years, but that made us feel more at home. This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and we are so glad we went here.
