"Excellent place to stay. More than fully equipped. It was short of nothing, well heated, great shower, plenty of towels and toiletries, kitchen had everything required. Many nice touches were a wonderful bonus: welcome basket including all sorts of goodies and wine, as well as fresh bread and milk. Perfect ! "

"So lovely, really homely. All the essentials plus bits like sandwich boxes and a slow cooker in the kitchen. Tourist leaflets and info pack could do with udating. Would be helpful to have supermarket/ local market/pharmacy details. Limited rainy day things to do in the flat. No books, family games etc. However, Carlisle nearby. Loads of hidden tea rooms and cafes in the surrounding villages. Maryport is gorgeous."

"Home is equipped with everything we needed and immaculate! Owner added some personal items for us due to the reason for or break away which was lovely! Surrounding area was beautiful! We got a toue of the farm which was fantastic, my children thoroughly enjoyed this! Hot tub was just what we needed to relax! Owners were lovely and very accommodating! Would highly recommend this place for a trip away!"

"Our home away from home. Our stay was warm, cozy and extremely comfortable. Very impressed and will definitely revisit. The home had everything we needed and most importantly the furniture was comfortable - you could sink into the sofa and enjoy the views from the windows with a perfect book. Absolutely loved it!!"

"Although an old property it suited our needs Sadly unknown to us until we arrived, the road through the village and pavements were being resurfaced with heavy machinery.we had to leave earlier in the morning than as roads were being closed off.,the floors in the house are very noisy to walk on, and some furniture was very dated,dont think i woud recommend it to friends."
