Hotel was an excellent location and very clean. We had problems with our room (broken shower, battery flat in door lock) and this was shorted efficiently by the staff, who changed us to another room. Excellent access to the old town and the trans run right outside. Easy access to sights. The breakfast is very different and expensive for what is available - not for the English palate! Far better to head into town - we found a lovely little place called Lavenda, just off the square. Only issue we found was the noise from the trams - they do run all night and between 4-5am it gets really busy. Would recommend - we had a fab stay - not for light sleepers!

Definitely a comfortable stay overall: location was decent, good sound insulation, large room, great free breakfast. However, the services has a lot to be desired --- umbrellas should be provided on request and also toothpastes...

The hotel staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Nothing was any trouble at all. The room was clean tidy and had everything needed for the few night stay. Its location is perfect to access the square in a few minutes. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Great location

The location is great to walking around the city and there are many casual restaurants. The room I stayed on the second floor was noisy with cars and people walking around outside. The door to the next room was slamming. The breakfast area was small, but the food was satisfactory. Breakfast started at 8am on the weekends, which I thought was a little late.

Fab hotel in good location

Hotel is in a good location a short walk to the old town and good for transport links. Buffet Breakfast was included and was a good selection of meats, cheeses and breads with some scrambled egg, sausage and pancakes as a heated choice. This is a lovely hotel and room.was spacious and clean. Hotel is on.a flat iron and has main roads either side which can be a bit noisy in the day. We had a room on the 5th floor with a full lengh balcony which was nice to get some air as was quite warm when we were there. Few nights there were outdoor musicians playing accross the square which could be heard in the room

Breakfast issues

I've paid for breakfast but couldn't use it because of lack of space in restaurant, tried three times and all the time it was occupied. Couldn't get my money back as they reclaim I booked it via Expidia. Rooms should have been renovated long time now.

5* Would Recommend

Staff were friendly. Hotel was very clean and modern, I even got a free upgrade from a single to a double room. Free bottles of water provided in the room every day. No complaints here. Was unable to book breakfast through hotels.com however on arrival I was advised that the breakfast was open between 7am - 10am and it was free. Good central location, probably only a five minute walk to the main square.

Exceptional! As we arrived early, Michal put our luggage until checkin time. A hot water pot was available for tea & coffee that was provided. For our bathing pleasure we had wash & shampoo and their towels were super soft. Bathrobes & slippers were in the closet for our use. Sweet candies on our beds. EXCEPTIONAL!

Proceed with Caution.

The bed was dirty, filled with hairs. Had to check three rooms before finding a somewhat decent and clean room. One room even had a broken nail on the bathroom sink. The staff were not helpful in solving the issue. Very old hotel which was probably of high standard back in the day but has not been maintained.
