“The hotel is very basic. The rooms are quite small, and the hotel seems to operate at full capacity most of the time. They are generally unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Guests have to wait in the lobby until 3:00 PM, and then suddenly all the rooms seem to become available for check-in at the same time.
There is no iron in the room. If you need one, you have to go to the front desk, get a special key, and access the first floor, which is a little inconvenient.

“I have nothing but positive things to say about my five night stay at this hotel. I love the location.. in a residential area which was relaxed and not touristy yet not far from the heart of Copacabana and just a short taxi ride or bike ride from Ipanema. I had a partial ocean view room which was spacious and very comfortable! There was excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water.. and the bed was very comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, gracious and……
