Boston Preston Beach Hotels

"The hotel was old but well maintained. Breakfast was limited in choice but was fine. We stayed in April, on the 2nd floor and it was quite warm. There was no air conditioner in the room which would have helped to cool the room down. We opened the windows. There is no elevator on premises and if mobility is an issue you will need to book a room on the first floor. It might be a little noisy because 3 of the rooms are near where breakfast is served and where guests may gather in the evening. Only complaint was that there is no early check in available. Check in time is 4:00 PM and they are strict about this. I believe the reason for this is that they have limited staff available and they are only on premises at certain times of the day. The location is convenient if you are visiting family at The Mariner which is an independent/assisted living facility."

"The house was clean and large enough to accommodate 10 women getting together for our 33rd college reunion. The dining room table was great as we could all fit at it for dinner. Jenny was also very responsive and sent details on how to get in and where to park. We all enjoyed our stay."

"Our host Robert was absolutely fantastic. He went out of his way to help me with a shoulder problem that I had. His property is walkable to everything in town and well worth it"

"The place was comfortable, clean and well-located in Marblehead. The only not O had was the bathroom fan was not operated by a switch but was motion activated. So in the middle of the night when you went into the bathroom the fan went on and you couldn’t turn it off. It stayed on for a fair amount of time an was loud. Small complaint. Overall great. "
