"This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice clean and comfy main hotel area, with several great Alaskan seafood and other types nearby. Easy walking due to harbor front location. Complimentary shuttle to our ferry and hotel very accomodating to us remaining until our time to board our cruise ship. Recommended."
