“I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was disappointing. One of the reasons I booked this property instead of an Airbnb was the expectation of basic hotel amenities and comfort. Unfortunately, the hotel advertised having a bar and restaurant, but neither was actually available during my stay. This felt misleading from the start. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioning. On the day I checked in, I was told the AC was not working throughout the hotel and……

“Good points: Clean room Great location Great Facilities, kitchenette with equipped with fridge, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, crockery, pans and utensils Comfortable bed Not so good points: Unfortunately was rather noisy as faces onto to a reasonably busy road. Did not receive any check in information until the morning of the stay, despite messaging a couple of weeks before and it was difficult to find the correct contact info for the place. ”

“Good: 5 mins walk to tube station and big M&S super market. Check in fast. Room: sacious, neat, quiet. Wifi: fast and stable. Free bottles of water in the room. Breakfast: various choices such as sausages, fried & boiled eggs etc. Bad: no moveable shower head, which is not flexible to wash my body. ”

“The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight.”

“For what I needed and location it was prefect for one night - the need was more about location than anything else. Room was clean and had everything that I needed. Bed small so lucky it was just one person as it wasn’t really big enough for two. Really really bad smell from bathroom - like rotten cabbage, think it was the shower drain.”

“交通很方便，附近就是 finsbury park 地鐵站、也有好幾間超市。房間有廚房，但沒有抽油煙機，適合簡單加熱食物。床蠻舒服，另外還有一張兩人座的沙發床可以坐。 房屋的隔音不太好，開關門聲音很大（主要是門設計的問題很難輕聲關門） 對於聲音比較敏感的不太適合。晚上網路不穩定。浴室的排水慢，只提供兩條浴巾（沒有毛巾和擦手巾）。”

“Initial booking was easy and straightforward. But the check-in process left a lot to be desired! The Virtual Front Desk, ask you to send them photographic ID via WhatsApp or email, and they send you the access codes to the property, along with videos on how to use the locks. Once inside the property, you then need to navigate a labyrinth of hallways and staircases in the hope of finding your room. Fortunately for us, cleaners were on site when we checked in, and they showed us where our room……

“It was what I would expect from an inn. Nothing over the top, but did the job. ”

“Nothing to really dislike. Initially I had a panic when I reread the check in details which said I would get a follow up email with details. Fortunately Expedia stepped in and sorted it out. I checked my spam folder etc but I never received the email. I slept well, it is in a convenient location, just a 10 min walk to the regular W3 bus to Ally Pally. I think it would be good to have had some basic tea / coffee / milk. There should at least be some water in the room. I know there is a kitchen……
