“It was exactly as described. The place was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was nice and we enjoyed the little town. My only complaint was all the seaweed. It was in large piles all over the beach which made the beach in front of the place pretty useless. ”

“Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Condo had everything I needed to cook & all in working order, even forced exersize being on the 4th floor ,with beautiful morning sunrises & nice breezes through out. I had a hard time as a senior seeing where the steps in condo changed as the tile is all the same- Suggest a stripe of black/ brown at edge of steps. Also would be great to have a lounger bed/ chair out at right side of deck to relax. Bed was very comfy. Great location walkable to everything in Halfmoon bay. Weather was perfect to……

“The view is simply amazing! The neighborhood around the condo is calm and walkable with a few good restaurants within a short stroll. We loved it!”

“Not outstanding, just a fair place to stay. A 2 bed 2 bath condo is about the same price as this one bed, one bath suite after all the fees and taxes are added to the final cost. Unable to negotiate price per night with owner. Bed very comfortable, toilet needs fixed, maid service was excellent, kitchen offered the bare minimum utensils for making meals. Plan to eat out because of this. Refrigerator makes constant noise. Coffee pot had to be “programmed “ in order to brew. Confusing to us so we……

“Couldn’t ask for a nicer place or views. With 4 young kids, we throughly enjoyed Akumal and surrounding areas. The place was very clean, pool was great, parking was easy, and snorkeling out front was great too (albeit rocky, but that just gave more places to look for sea life!). Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again”

“We had a great time in Akumal and the Nahil rental was outstanding. The location was perfect. The management company was very responsive. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The unit was gorgeous and the view amazing. It was close to so many things that we did not need a car. Walking to dinner was easy. We also walked to the closest cenote (Yal-Ku) and to swim with the turtles. We only took local transportation once to a further cenote and the management company arranged it for us. Plus……

“This place is super clean and cute and is everything they said it would be. The view is astounding! I know they have no control of this, but the sargasso was 3 ft high on the small beach ringing the entire bay, and 20 feet out from the shore. Sad to say, though it's one of my favorite places in the world, the Riviera Maya has got to figure this out!”
