「Chez Waffle has a pretty back lounge area with view of the water and fish swimming into the inlet. The condition of the rooms is a bit dated. The prices of food on the high side. It is extremely quiet in this gated community. If you want lots to do, you are isolated. I did diviving and day trips every day, so spend little time at the hotel (only evenings). The local busses that run between Playa an d Tulum are excellent. Very cheap! Overall, enjoyed my stay and would do this again. I recommend...

「In comparison to other AI resorts we’ve experienced better. Not much for teenagers to do in the evening. Restaurants were OK. Wish they would take reservations. Seems like that would be a better way to do. The rooms are small but clean. Best experience was over on the heaven side, but need to be 18+ to be over there. Security was very strict about wristbands where it was almost strange. Making you show or scan a wristband for no apparent reason. Most of the staff was fantastic. Also found it odd...

「Loved the stay as we got married at this resort 15 years ago. I did let them know about our anniversary but nothing was mentioned from them, little disappointing. Also the ladies at the front that talked us into going to talk about a time share was a bad experience. They told us and hour and a half took 3 hours of our day plus travel. They lied about why we were going they and didn’t tell me what it was. Staff at the resort were really good. It’s very clean.」
