I’ve been to several places and stayed in several resorts in the Dominican. This is by far one of the best places to stay kids in the pool, making noise like kids do other than that wonderful place.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view was incredible, the property was very well kept, and the beach was just a short walk away; about ten minutes through a scenic trail. All the staff were friendly and helpful and brought us a lot of water jug refills. We would definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying at Ocean Palms. I like it because they accept dogs of all sizes. The property manager, Jennifer, and the man who works with her are always pleasant and helpful.

Only negatives were that the bedroom air-conditioning did not effectively cool the room, the livingroom furniture is in need of cleaning, and there was no iron or ironing board in the unit, despite being advertised as being included.

Loved our stay at Ocean Palms. It’s location was perfect! Quiet and had everything you need to enjoy Encuentro and Cabarete. Walk to the food truck market across the street (open at night), it’s very cool with great food and live music on Saturday nights. Stayed a week and had to ask for replacement towels but reception staff are friendly! Pool is great and lots of parking. Very safe. Recommend!

I frequently travel to the Dominican and can say that this new hotel/apartment complex is now the nicest on the North Coast. Beautiful colonial architecture, lush gardens, and a big, beautiful pool on the outside. Inside the rooms look and feel totally modern. Big TV, fast internet, A/C in every room, very, very clean. Staff was great too. Playa Encuentro is beautiful and so peaceful. Very close to Cabarete and Sosua. Worth the visit.

Ocean Palms is not exactly a hotel. It's a condominium or apartment complex. It has pretty much everything you need to live there for awhile. Everything is very clean and well-managed by Jennifer and her staff. You do need transportation to get to major beach areas, but for living and relaxing, it's all there.

Unser Aufenthalt in den Ocean Palms Residences war in jeder Hinsicht ausgezeichnet. Wir waren in den vergangenen Jahren bereits gelegentlich tagsüber bei Freunden vor Ort zu Besuch und haben uns in diesem Jahr bewusst dafür entschieden, gleich zwei längere Urlaubsaufenthalte mit unseren sechsjährigen Zwillingen dort zu verbringen. Diese Entscheidung hat sich in jeder Hinsicht als richtig erwiesen. Die Anlage überzeugt durch eine außergewöhnliche Sauberkeit, die man schon beim Betreten wahrnimmt. Alles wirkt gepflegt, strukturiert und mit Liebe zum Detail geführt. Ebenso hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der gesamten Anlage: Sowohl die Atmosphäre als auch das Verhalten der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Das Personal arbeitet professionell, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend – stets mit einem natürlichen Lächeln und echter Herzlichkeit. Besonders geschätzt haben wir zudem die Sicherheit der Anlage. Als Familie mit zwei Kindern ist dieses Thema für uns von großer Bedeutung, und die Ocean Palms Residences bieten ein Sicherheitsniveau, das in dieser Form an der Nordküste selten zu finden ist. Man spürt, dass alles gut organisiert ist und dass Gäste jederzeit in verlässlichen Händen sind. Unsere Kinder haben sich ebenso wohlgefühlt wie wir. Die gesamte Anlage ist familienfreundlich, ruhig und bietet dennoch genügend Abwechslung, sodass ein längerer Aufenthalt angenehm und erholsam bleibt. Die Kombination
