"This is a wonderful place for family during the week!! We were celebrating the 21st of my granddaughter and we had 4 generations together. The sound of the ocean pounding is wonderful. GREAT air conditioning in the bedrooms, roomy accommodations, the little pool and tasty food from restaurant are top pluses about Johnny's Place. I will say on the street just passed the resort, it is a little sketchy, so do not advise going out at night. BUT inside the walls and right in front IS an oasis!! "

"We had such great experience the staff alone went beyond after check in. The experience of having all inclusive from unlimited drinks, food, pools was amazing. Everything was well maintained and clean my favorite part of it was the Hawaiian show and the game night. The fact that Expedia provided an amazing rate made it a night to remember. "

"When the reservation was made the property represented that it had air conditioning throughout, including the kitchen and living room. Upon arrival we discovered this was false. We notified the owner, and he offered a partial refund. He said it would not be possible to provide the air conditioning that was represented in his listing. We did not stay at the property, as without the promised air conditioning, it was not inhabitable. We informed the owner that we could not stay without air conditioning. We never would have reserved a property in an area with high temperatures, that was not fully air conditioned. Due to the misrepresentation we left the property. VRBO honored their guarantee, and we were given a full refund."

"The mark of any good rental is if you would rent it again - and l look forward to renting this again for a longer period. A really upscale single family house in a nice gated neighborhood. The 3 br 2 ba house was awesome with a newer pool, outdoor shower and cabana(?). The inside was clean, bedding and towels looked new. Beach access very easy by way of a boardwalk through the area over the stream. The black sand beach stretches for miles in either direction as far as one can see. The ocean is very warm and l was playing in the surf after sunset. Yhere is a pretty good restaurant nearby at the Miramar Hotel. I also ate at various street vendors in San Jose and loved it. The rental is in a gated neighborhood and l never felt unsafe. The guards were really helpful, suggesting where to go and giving me tips. They were awesome and we had some good conversations! Alex, the owner contacted me in advance and provided his contact information. I enjoyed myself, watched the Super Bowl in Espanol and would do it again! Thanks Alex, you have a nice place."

"Very nice vacation house, amazing swimming pool, and the small pool and jacuzzi. Close to the beach. Security guards on the entrance. Just double check if there's an extra charge for any person above the 10, description says that it can accommodate 15 persons but only 10 are included. A great experience. A very safe place and friendly employees that take care of the property."
