「We had a disappointing experience with our booking, as we were anticipating our stay but did not receive the expected instructions on accessing the property. Despite driving from Guatemala City to Panajachel, we never received the necessary information from the host, who was unresponsive. Another review highlighted a similar issue, leading us to question the host's reliability. We reported the incident to VRBO and obtained a refund, but the overall experience was subpar and not ideal for a...

「I’ve had the opportunity to travel more than most for work as well as pleasure. I’ve stayed in 5 star accommodation hotels across the US, Europe, Asia and South America. I’ve enjoyed Vrbo’s in North, Central and South America. With that said, Chateau Maldonado is in the top three places I’ve stayed ever for three reasons.

「Our stay here was our most beautiful in our trip through Guatemala. My family and I LOVED Kristiina’s home! It was clean, comfortable but overall the view was just spectacular. It has access to its own private dock and is super easy to walk to town. It’s spacious with a big terrace to take your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here.」
