We have stayed at the Mio three different times. We were a little disappointed with this visit. Had to ask four times to switch rooms because the air conditioning did not work. No offer of upgrades. Pool is in need of repair. Service staff excellent and very friendly. Breakfast is very good and well worth the extra cost. Close to good restaurants and shopping. All in all we had a good stay and love PVR.

The first day the Air conditioner did not work all night until I went to complain at 6 am to the lobby. The jacuzzi was broken, and various tiles of the pool were coming off. It’s not the same hotel I fell in love with two years ago. It was so unpleasant we planned to stay 3 nights but because of the incident, we asked to cancel the next two days and hoped for the reimbursement even Expedia got involved but no luck. The reservation lady named Lucy told me that would reimburse me for one night. But I don't know if really will happen. Sad to see one of my favorite hotels going down the drain in this manner. I won't recommend it.
