The unit itself is very nice, well decorated, and offers a great view. The concierge service provided by the separate property management company used by the owners is top notch and very responsive.
One note for the owners: better pillow options would be appreciated. The current pillows are not well suited for back sleepers. My partner found them too firm and overstuffed and ultimately had to use a towel to sleep comfortably.
Street noise can be noticeable, though having the bedroom located toward the back of the unit helped significantly. The pool area is lovely—truly exceptional—and the bar makes excellent drinks. Prospective guests should be aware that drinks are expensive (around $17 each) and that outside food or beverages are not allowed. This was not a major issue for us, but it is worth noting, as this differs from most VRBO properties.
What I truly did not like—and hope this feedback is taken seriously—was the requirement to wear cheap plastic wristbands 24/7, branded with the property’s name. Beyond being tacky, especially when going out to dinner or for the evening, it poses a security concern by publicly identifying where guests are staying. There are far better alternatives available, including more discreet RFID-enabled bracelets that would eliminate the need for a separate room card altogether. I strongly encourage the owners and/or property management to raise this issue with the condo building. Unfortunately, this would be a deal breaker for me when booking.
