“Room is ok, breakfast is great, unfortunately after I had breakfast water supply stopped in the hotel. Maintenance work is understandable, but should remind guests beforehand so they can be better prepared.”

“A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there. Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with. The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own……

“Lovely hotel, with bags of charm. A great garden, fab pool with doors opening to the garden. Staff were friendly and attentive. A tip if you are a light sleeper is to avoid Rm. 205 as the air con unit is directly beneath and rumbles on and off throughout the night. It wasn’t too much of a problem for us but worth knowing. ”

“A lovely pub/reataurant with rooms. We stayed in ‘The Apartment’ that sleeps up to six people, with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Four of us stayed comfortably and we will definitely stay here again. We had dinner and breakfast there, the food was lovely, and service second to none. It’s a great location, literally on the beach and has parking. Really friemdly, attentive staff who couldn’t do enough to help. They have live music events and the vibe in the bar area is good.
