「Comfortable, clean hotel with a straight on view of the mountain and toll road. The restaurant on site was good too. The only issue was that the pool was under renovation, so was the bar and the WiFi wasn’t working. But we asked them to waive the resort fee since these amenities weren’t available and they did. 」

「Friendly staff and main part of hotel appeared cleaner than the room. The room we stayed in needed a serious deep clean. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and smelly feet. We opened the window but there were no screens. The carpet was very stained and likley the cause of the smell. It needs to be shampooed or replaced. I kept my socks on to walk around the room. 「We were blessed to arrive very late, and able to easily get into the room quickly. It was a little dated, but comfortable for a short stay, Met the lady that booked us for the extra night, and that was a pleasant thing, as well.」

「Amazing stay at the base of Black mountain with rad amenities. Double hot tubs and sauna were incredible. Staff were wonderful. Super mellow vibes in a classic old school new England inn. Our room was on the smaller size, but with all the fun stuff to do between the on-site Shovel Handle Pub and literally being in the same parking lot as Black Mountain, you don't need to spend much time in there.
