Upon arrival the young lady that helped us was good. Persons going should speak Spanish. The resort lovely however the staff need to speak English a little better. To accommodate everyone. Myself and husband was sick the moment we walked in the room. There was a strong odour of mildew or mold. The nights were long we coughed every night. When we were out and about it was ok. The moment we went to bed. Coughing up heavy mucus! Now because of the language barrier we could not readily explain what we were feeling. I took pics of what I saw. When I got back home from my vacation my daughter said “why do you guys smell like mold. I didn’t tell her about it, but she could smell it. All my clothes needs to be washed. I also had a do not disturb sign on my door, how is it that twice the door was barely knocked and we were walked in on. The bed is located directly in front of the door. Just imagine what embarrassing scene that could be! No extra safety bolt. Beautiful place, beautiful beach, the hustlers on the beach disgusting no peace. Also the guys driving on the go-cart, they are time share sellers, annoying and they lie to get you to go to a presentation. BE AWARE! We went on an excursion to the countryside the local culture to see how coffee/cocoa is grown and made. I truly enjoyed that. The tour guide angel and Felix the driver from “Bavaro Runners Safari”was great!😊 overall experience just ok.

My visit 3 years ago was much nicer than this year. No more flamencos, trash and plastic water bottles in the lagoons and around property, and very little food in the bins for the birds. Although the beach was still as beautiful, the resort itself was not as pleasant. The food quality was below average but the staff were all extremely kind and accommodating, although it appeared there were much less employees.

The hotel is spotless with modern, well maintained rooms. The buffet and Tartufo restaurant were highlights, though Pescador was just okay. The beach by the hotel is beautiful and clean. Service, however, was hit-or-miss. While some staff were great, others were slow or dismissive, specifically at reception, where the second part of my check-in (when they actually gave me the room after 15:00) felt rude and unprofessional, Great facilities, but the service needs more consistency.

The optics/aesthetics of this resort were ON POINT and The staff was wonderful. A few issues did arise. A) my room had mold in the shower and mold collecting on the couch in my bungalow suite. B) the app for making reservations to eat (mind you, ALL 12 restaurants are reservation only or you can’t eat) was down, so we had the front desk assist us in booking a few dinner reservations. upon arrival for dinner, the host informed us we did not have a reservation, and denied us entry. This happened 2 separate occasions, both reservations booked by the front desk. How are guests supposed to eat if the app is down and the desk-made reservations do not work? Very displeased with that. C) at 7pm security kicked us out of the pool. kicked EVERYONE out of the pool. respectfully, if i’m doing ANY swimming at night, it will be in the pool and not in the ocean. I was shocked when they said everyone needed to exit the pool — Mind you, if i was at home in arizona in the summertime, the sun would still fully be up at 7pm. D) my friends suite door battery died— desk told them to wait at their suite and someone would come to change the battery. they sat outside their room for 2 hours at 6am waiting for someone to come. Overall, the resort is stunning and the staff are so fun and kind! however these issues will stop me from booking at Princess resorts in the future.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay. Entertainment did lack a lot but it was very beautiful and relaxing staff was great our room was great right in front of the beach. The beach was the best part of our trip.

The internet worked on and off half the time, the rooms all smell really musty even after switching rooms 3 separate times and each room all had their own issue. Some had slow drains, one had a toilet that didn’t flush too well, and the other one just had black grime built up near the shower corners. Most of the servers are nice and smile while there’s a couple that just doesn’t look happy. Food was probably the most disappointing part, I wasn’t fond of any of it
