Birthday getaway

Perfect for the weekend trip to Florida...enough room to host a small birthday party. We did have to borrow my in-laws tank for the grill as theirs was empty.

A Beautiful Home

Even though we were only there for 2 nights, we loved the home and all it offered. From the back porch, pool, and canal, to the comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Vacation Spot!

We absolutely loved staying here at Fishtail! Being able to keep our boat at the dock, fish and watch sunsets from the pool was fantastic. The kitchen had everything we could’ve needed and more, and the most comfortable beds! We look forward to many years returning to this spot.

My 60th Birthday Girls Trip

Loved the property!! There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room. The amenities were as mentioned. The site mentioned there was a double pull out sofa in one of the bedrooms, but it was the sofa in the living room. We are already talking about our next visit! Great property...

... to relax and unwind. We found everything we needed. Loved the bedding, huge pillows, super comfy mattresses. Utilities worked properly, the heated saltwater pool was a highlight. Communication with management was easy. Kept us up to date about garbage data, check in and check out in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property

The Great Escape

This house is AMAZING! It is serene and has lovely sunsets with nice views of the canal. It is well-stocked and has everything you need for a nice stay. I stayed there with my family, and it fit us all very nicely, and we had space to ourselves. The pool was a highlight of our stay, and the fact that it's a saltwater pool added a unique touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the spa bath was a perfect way to unwind and relax. We will be staying again for sure.

FABULOUS!

Beautiful property! Everything that we needed was there! My son loved the pool and being able to fish off the back dock area. Pool lounge chairs were VERY hard. Would recommend cushions for them or different chairs.

AMAZING! Beautiful home, very clean & updated. Everything that we needed was there. 1 downside=pool not heated. In the summer that would be fine, but end-of-March/April it was cold. My 10yo still was in it, but too chilly for me!

Great House away from beaches

We've booked our Vacation Home with Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals about one year in advance. About one week before checkin we were informed that we can not get the house we've booked because the owner did not want to rent it out any longer.... We were offered 6 alternatives we could choose from. 5 of those were absolutely inaccesptable and not comparable to the house we originally had booked. We originally had booked a house in the Bradenton area, max. 20 minutes to the niceset beaches in Florida . We decided for this house here in Punta Gorda as it was the only one which was comparable. I have to says: this house is amazing! There is nothing wrong with the house at all! Very clean, great kitchen (very well equipped), nice pool, amazing Weber, very nice neighborhood. The only thing to complain is the location. Punta Gorad is really a bit away from everything. Especially the location of the house within the channels. You really need at least one hour to everywhere. We are an active family and if you like to explore and make daytrips you have to drive a lot! Next nice beach (Boca Grande beaches or Englewood Beaches) about 1 hour drive! Regarding the house this is really the only thing you have to worry about. If you are fine with that - go for it - great house!!!
