The perfect location for my Welsh Coastal path walk. Pleasant single room, with en suite (bath). Very well appointed hotel, with plenty of bar and restaurant space. Food was very good and the staff were exceptional, especially Elain in the bar.

A timeless hotel with friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and good food. The Nanhoron Arms was a haven of rest after a long trip from the U.S. Nefyn is a picturesque seaside town with a lovely beach and great walks along the Coastal Path, well worth a visit, and I look forward to staying there again.

Position for our purpose . Breakfast was below par. The room is not serviced which is not a huge issue but for the cost we expected more . Room was cold when we arrived and took a while to warm up. Fitting in the bathroom is badly fitted and shower was weak.

single bedroom is simple. clean. bathroom has a bath no place to hang the shower head. there is a lot of noise from guests passing through the staircase. hot water takes near 10 minutes to reach the room as the sign displays. food is great.

Nice hotel but....

Nice hotel. However, bedroom in eaves and only a bath with shower attachment. Water cold in morning (5.30), although run tap for 5 minutes (hate wasting water). Food good, but slow service - no one came to ask if I wanted a pudding! Staff friendly and provided with a pack-up as leaving long before breakfast was served. Expensive for one person (£87.50) but convenient for work.

Nice hotel let down by useless bathroom.

Nice hotel tastefully modernised. Food was good and the service was excellent. The downside was we had room 203. Avoid. Small double room on second floor (no lift) and the bathroom was under the eaves. Basically there was a bath with a shower hose. Unable to stand in bath as ceiling too low. Had to crouch to reach taps and shower hose useless due to ceiling height. Charged at same price as other rooms.

Stayed while walking the N Wales Saints Way. Staff were kind and helpful. Room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable and an additional heater and a fan were available. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options. Evening meal (the salmon) was excellent!

The old church is now a Maritime Museum and well worth a visit. They also serve a good coffee and bara brith (welsh tea bread)

Hotel was fine but very tired and in need of updating and renovation. On the surface the rooms had been decorated in a relatively modern style but the bathroom had paint falling off the ceiling because of damp. No hooks for a bath towel, and a shower head attached to the bath but nowhere to hang it and no shower screen so had to sit in bath to use it. Couldn’t have washed my hair in the room. Staff were polite and friendly and parking was easy. Breakfast was fine omelette very nice but have had better buffets other places. Felt expensive for what we got.

We had a lovely overnight stay here and all the staff were excellent but I feel it should be mentioned on their site that there is no lift and it would be impossible for the elderly or infirm to get upstairs without this

1st Anniversary

I decided to bring my partner here for our first anniversary and the hotel just went above and beyond! Throughout the booking they kept in contact with me to ensure we all knew exactly what was happening, as I asked them to do the room up for us and add some prosecco! We had a 2 and a half hour drive down to Nefyn and before we left I had a text message from Gwawr, she asked if I had an ETA so that they could put the prosecco in the room just before our arrival to ensure it stayed cold! When we checked in Sally was a great help with us ensuring we had all the information needed! We booked in for dinner at 6:00pm and the meal was just lovely! The portions were bigger than expected but it was incredible value for money and just gorgeous food! Upon check out Gwawr was absolutely amazing, ensuring everything had gone as smoothly as possible! Overall, it was made a very personal stay for us and the hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely, anything needed was at most a couple of minute walk away! The rooms were incredible and they even upgraded us to celebrate our anniversary which was just amazing of them! It was a quiet weekend for us which I would say helped make it that bit more personal! We would without a doubt come back! We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody within a heartbeat!
