「Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...

「the grounds were terrible and overgrown. the room had holes in the wall. there were broken light fixtures. the shower had lots of mold growing in it. the shower wall was rotted. there was a coffee pot but no coffee or tea. we were there 2 nights and they did not make the beds or clean the room after the 1st night. the pillows had no cases. I am handicapped but was forced to walk nearly the entire length of the property to get to my room. 」

「Very spacious room....I'm sorry i didn't take advantage of it all. Excellent sleeping, very comfortable bed. The only thing i would change would be the shower...tub makes it not as easy to maneuver in and out of. Otherwise very nice! 」

「4:30 breakfast was great because we had an early flight out and we didn't have time get something at the airport before boarding the plane. The employees at the hotel were very nice and seemed glad to welcome us to their hotel. Definitely a great place to stay!」
