“A beautiful historical hotel with Hot tub, pool and a great rooftop bar. It’s right across the street from the River, and most down town Restaurants and attractions are easily walkable including The Figge Art Museum, and the Adler Theater. I would love to stay here again. ”
“The hotel was lovely, but the lighting in the room and bath was too dim. Older adults often have eye problems that make low lighting difficult. At least give us the option on turning it higher. Also, we were in room 316, terrible view, and the air conditioner blows on the bed. Lots of hotels do this and we can't figure out why. Otherwise, lovely hotel.”
“Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back……
“The employees of this hotel were amazing. Very informative and our room was always kept clean. The continental breakfast was good and the coffee was hot. The building can do some work and the tub had a little bit of rust in it. That would be the only complaint that I have.”
