In a wonderful area of Quebec. Near the city gate and Citadel. A nice walk to old Quebec. No elevator, but the room was quiet and clean. We didn't mind the stairs. It is a great and classic old building. The AC was an unexpected pleasure.

Really cute hostel in an amazing location! The interior of the building was gorgeous. Room, bathrooms, and the kitchen were clean and the staff was very friendly. The air conditioning wasn't amazing (it was pretty hot in the bunks all night), and the 'continental' breakfast was more of a grab-and-go situation with yogurt, granola bars, etc.. Still, amazing stay for the price.

It was my first experience at a hostel. I am 55. I was surprised that you cannot sit down on your bed. But for one night with breakfast, the price is low and reasonable. The location is perfect, just on a part of the street with a night vibe. The air conditioner in the dormitory was quiet; I was sleeping well.

My stay here was okay. For the most part everything was fine. The best part about the place was the location. Very convenient to get around from there by bus or on foot. A few issues I had were mostly with the bathroom and shower rooms. I wish there was more privacy, especially with the toilets. Maybe it’s just me and because I don’t often stay at hostels, but out of the ones I’ve stayed at, this one was my least favorite. I think some of the spaces were not well cleaned. I went to the movie room and it smelled terrible. Something for people to note is there are no elevators, so if you have a lot or heavy luggage it can be a bit of a climb. It’s also dark where the stairs are. I didn’t like that. Personally I wouldn’t stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend it either.

Great place, location is top notch. The building is old but maintained well. The breakfast is very basic, but it is free so no major complaints. Breakfast could’ve been better. I’d highly recommend this hostel for solo travellers.

This was a pleasant surprise. Hostel was very nice with lots amenities like kitchen, cinema, lounge area and even a gym. Type of gym you can actually pull a workout not just a couple of dumbbells or barbells in a room. Best thing was the staff, Lawrence (sorry if I’m writing this name wrong) was the best. Super incredibly friendly and smiling gave me lots of tips and local spots to go. 10/10
