“Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

“We had a two night stay here. In a standard room which was a ‘cosy double’ the room felt small but it was a comfortable sleep. The room was clean, great location also the staff were very helpful. I did not get a chance to use the spa facilities so I can’t comment on that area. If I was to return I would book a bigger room. Overall great stay.”

“I wasn't aware before booking that this hotel isn't staffed 24 hours a day. When we arrived, we had to call a phone number, and we were then told to collect our room keys from the reception desk. This wasn't something I was expecting. There is also no lift, so if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, I'd strongly recommend requesting a ground-floor room. “A good place to stay outside of Epsom, with a great vibe in the bar, restaurant and clubhouse. We stayed during the warm weather and took our meals outside on the decking overlooking the goal course. The cook-to-order breakfast was a treat and the staff were friendly and well-trained. Air-conditioning in the room made our stay all the more comfortable.”

“Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. ”
