"Room was very clean, instructions for check in and check out were clear Well located, 3 minutes drive to old quebec and nearing Avenue Cartier and St-Jean, which are nice little streets with restaurants and shops. Kitchenette in room is not very useful (no sink, no stove top) but otherwise I would recommend this place to stay!"

"Hi! I just wanted to bring to your attention that this hotel was really not great. It is very "tired". the lobby was very smelly when we walked in and looked dirty. the room smelled good but everything is so old and patched up. I took picutres of a few things ie: -wallpaper in the bathroom not a great idea especially if it is already coming off the wall in most places (which was bound to happen sooner than later). - the grout used in the bathroom was stained by little mold spots. I have pictures of paper towel before cleaning and after ,,,getting black -very dirty corners and joints in the bathroom -all the air vents where filthy and had not been cleaned in months. etc etc 18 hours ago I understand that it was after spring break and you were probably busy but you did take the reservation and got paid for it ... therefore the place should have been cleaned. some things are beyond fixing, just need a total revamp in the bathrooms (at least the 602 one). ah! I do not remember the last time I had a hotel bathroom that did not have a fan...the mirror was foggy for 30 minutes after a short shower Really not impressed and you came recommended by people that had been years ago. obviously all went down the drain after. I would find it very very hard to recommend such place today."

"Très bel endroit, bien situé près du vieux Québec. Petit café directement en face avec du délicieux café. Par contre, le chauffage est assez élevé dans la chambre. J'ai dû partir l'air climatisé pour arriver à une température décente. Il devait faire 27 degrés celsius dans la chambre...Merci!"

"What I liked: 1. Very spacious room: The room has two chairs, several lamps, blackout curtains, and ample closet space. 2. Gym: The gym has several cardio machines and several cable machines. There are dumbbells up to 50 pounds. There are two free benches. The sauna is large and coed. The pool is large enough for 3 lanes and maybe 4. 3. Security: There was always staff at the front. Keys are needed to use the elevators. 4. Proximity to tourist attractions: It's a 25 minute uphill walk from here to Old Montreal tourist attractions. I took a cab each time to get there. Cabs arrived in less than 5 minutes each time. 5. Proximity to food: There are numerous cafes, pastry spots, and several restaurants within 10 minutes walk."

"The pool was amazing and the staff were amazing! The location is great too as well as the croissants at the restaurant. The room was a bit stuffy and shabby, probably due to the age of the building. We would prefer not to have bibles left in the bedside tables. "
