“After a really stressful couple of weeks this property was just what we needed to reset our minds and bodies.The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us was a definite bonus. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch with Zoey laying in the fenced in yard. Other times we sat by the creek and watched the geese and goslings swimming down stream. There is some road noise as mentioned in the description however we easily tuned it out and at night in the bedroom it was basically non……

“The LaVerne guest house was a great place to stay. Very clean and centrally located to everything. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Finding it was a tad difficult since the LaVerne Guest House sign is no longer there, nor the beauty salon. Also, the house number is different than what we were given so the check in instructions should be updated. ”

“The house was fantastic for our family reunion to attend our son's graduation from Gettysburg. It has so many spaces for people to gather, inside and outside, and more than enough beds and bathrooms. It's only 20 minutes or so from Gettysburg, so easy in and easy out. The view is beautiful and serene, with a gorgeous pool and porch area. Communication was great also. Highly recommend.”

“The house was much nicer than the pictures showed. They are in the process of remodeling and it was actually very nice. The host was unable to access Vrbo so he was not responsive to my messages. Vrbo put me in touch with him and he was on top of it from there. He was a good communicator once I got a hold of him. The place was much better than it looks in the pictures. The only down side was there are not nearly as many beds as listed. ”
