"Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. "The heater was rather noisy. Also, we had to clean the bathroom floor when we arrived as it did not appear to have been swept. In addition we had to clean the stove as it looked like somebody cooked tomato soup and ran it over and the front of the stove had dry soup all over it. "This is the second year my group has rented this property. Great price for the number of beds. Love the large activity room. Our only (minor) issue last year was that the grill was out of propane, so we had to do burgers on the skillet. Happy to report the grill was ready to go this year, and they even had a spare tank! "The cabin was exactly as listed. The fire was amazing at heating up the place on cool evenings. Beds were comfortable. The hot tub was nice after hiking all day. Good location to Hocking Hills.
