“Lovely little cottage, perfect for a short stay (wish we had longer!) local to Oxford, Cotswolds & as a stopover from north to south as just off M40/A34. Managed Ok even in hot weather as a fan provided & bathroom was fab. Would have been nice to be able to open up the rear door for patio breakfast rather than walk around the side but not there long enough to be an issue. Opposite the church so had a musical alarm call from the bells on a Sunday norning which was novel & as expected for village……

“My husband, knowing how much we both love the Cotswolds, booked this cottage as a last-minute surprise, to wrap up our trip to the UK, to celebrate my birthday. What an absolute delight to spend an evening at Sunnybank Cottage. I was smitten from the moment we walked in. Beautifully appointed, wonderful location, and an absolute highlight in a busy agenda. I so wish we would have had more time to linger. I spent about 10 minutes just gazing across the picturesque landscape. It was a perfect……

The room had some stains on the carpet that should be cleaned, and one of the windows had a large crack that needs to be repaired. There is no air conditioning, so during the summer you need to open a window to cool the room enough to sleep. The problem is that the property is on a busy street with a lot of traffic noise, so I found myself choosing between being too hot or dealing with the noise while trying to sleep. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff……
