“We absolutely loved our stay in New Albany. It was our first time there and we found so much to do both in southern Indiana and Kentucky. The house was so nice and clean. The decor was outstanding. We enjoyed walking to dinner each evening. One of our favorite pastimes was our morning coffee on the front porch and enjoying our own “happy hour” on the patio in the evening. It was a fantastic trip!”

“Beautiful land and venue with great location! Absolutely loved those aspects and would’ve given it more stars if there were no concerns. The only issues we had were regarding cleanliness (a very strong mold smell resulting from a kitchen sink leak in the cabinet below) and pest infestations in the kitchen. Both were communicated to the property manager who advised they relayed them to the owners. We made it work as we weren’t at the house much at all, but it would have been very nice to receive……

“My wife and I booked this rental for a quiet birthday getaway—our first time with this type of stay. Prior to arrival, the host communicated quickly, but after that we only heard from her once we arrived and learned VRBO had double-booked the property, which seems to be a not-uncommon occurance. She handled it well and got us in, though the mix-up made for a stressful start.The home itself is very nice, spacious, and clean. The biggest issues with the home were one rooms couches had some……

“Welcoming host, many special touches, pretty and cozy furnishings and decorating, very quiet, nice places nearby to walk with my dog. Really enjoyed!”

“This was the perfect place to get away, relax on the porch overlooking a special spot in the creek, and play in the water. We watched movies on VHS, listened to cds, and cooked our meals. We had everything we needed, felt safe and welcomed, and left recharged. Definitely returning!”

“This property was even better than what the listing said. The host was quick to respond to anything that I asked. The listing does say one bathroom, but there are actually three full bathrooms. That was super helpful. There was a huge kitchen that was well stocked, plenty of towels and blankets. There was also ample seating in the living room area and at the dining room table. It was really a wonderful experience overall. The only downside is the dishwasher was not working, which we did not know……

“Great stay and proximity to Louisville KY. House was spacious, nicely decorated. Plus was the fenced in yard for our dog. Great parks in area. Everything was always no more than a 10 min drive. Communication with owners was excellent. House was as described. And even better than we anticipated. Would stay again.”
