“Abbiamo prenotato alle 4 del pomeriggio in giorno infrasettimanale del mese di ottobre, ormai fuori stagione, e dopo mezz'ora eravamo lì. Struttura deserta, nessuno in vista. Chiamiamo il proprietario e in pochi minuti ( intanto noi ci eravamo accomodati in piscina..) arriva una gentile ragazza che ci consegna le chiavi , poi un'altro ragazzo che ci tira fuori le sdraio (oramai riposte visto la data). Camera semplice ma spaziosa e pulita, struttura immersa nelle vigne, spazi comuni ordinati e……

“Bitterly disappointed with this hotel. On reading the website when booking it advertises sea, relaxation and comfort. However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. At the spa centre again the same story with the sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and steam room all closed. On asking why “just because they are”. Presumably again open on 1st June. “Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.”

“Received a warm welcome from Emanuela who was very helpful throughout my stay as was Coralie, giving advice on transport, areas of interest and places to eat. Lovely spacious room with a balcony and wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at this charming, family run hotel. “Das Frühstück war solide. Das Abendessen gab sehr viel Auswahl. Super Sportangebot. Schöne Gartenanlage und sichere Anlage. Ich habe nicht verstanden warum man 2 Euro für Handtücher bezahlen muss… in anderen Hotels gehört das zum Standard. ”

“I stayed 2 nights at Liodoro, and it was perfect! SUPER quiet, really nice room with a fridge and TV and lovely bathroom (and the bed was super comfy too). The host was great, and very helpful. A really convenient place to stay too - close to so much around the old town. A good base for sightseeing and food too. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes.”

“The hotel is situated at a convenient and central location for Acireale. There is everything you might need nearby and a pretty little park just across the street. The room was clean and well made, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated having an empty minibar fridge. The one thing I am unhappy with is the lack of availability in the hotel's parking. I booked three rooms at this hotel because we were 6 people due to arrive in 2 cars and parking was important to us. The amenities of the hotel……
