“Lovely property but low ceilings in some rooms hit our head a few times and difficult if you wanted to eat upstairs at the table as you have to carry everything up a fairly steep flight of stairs ”

“Netjes en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er stonden verse eitjes, vers gebakken brood, melk en een flesje prossecco klaar. Dat was erg fijn. Naast ons huisje werd een nieuwe woning gebouwd, naar daar hebben wij helemaal geen last van gehad en was ons van te voren gemeld. Buiten veel ruimte voor de hond en een prachtig bos om te wandelen.Gloucester is vlakbij. Heeft een prachtige, hondvriendelijk abdij die je kan bezoeken en de Cotswold is sowieso prachtig. Zeker aan te raden.”

“The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us.”

“Great property - plenty of space, clean, overlooking a lake. Fantastic communication from the hosts...we had a small issue with water - they were on it straight away. Only small gripe was about the estate facilities... restaurant and bar closed in Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (I think). The portal for booking water sports was not particularly user friendly...we only wanted to book 2 hours but the portal indicated the only option for 2 hours was to start at 2pm - it turned out from staff that we……

“We wanted a house that comfortably accommodated all of us and it certainly lived up to expectations. It was cosy and comfortable. It was equipped well with everything we needed for our stay. The position of the house on the lake was perfect for guests who love to fish or boat on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The swimming pools were clean and well maintained. Having a booking system meant that we were able to get a slot on every day we wanted one. Plus the tennis and multi……
