The kitchen was in the other building they have all the utensil you needed. They have 6 showers and bathroom. What i love the most the place was super clean. Pods is warm enough for the cold weather. Staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. 10/10

!!WARNING BEFORE!!! You need a code to check in! And staff don’t respond!!!! We had to escalate to Expedia and thank god they helped us. We were supposed to get a code 24 hours before and got it an hour before check in ONLY BECAUSE Expedia put out at urgent request. We had already booked another hotel in case. Another family was not so lucky and arrived with no way to contact the property as the owners don’t answer so they were left out in the cold with no where to stay. Please please don’t book here unless you have the flexibility not to get a code! Honestly would just avoid it here because of the stress. It was a beautiful location and nice enough “pod” but not worth the anxiety we had. It’s not cheap and you can stay in better places for the same price with actual owners who care.

The cabins had mixed reviews when I booked. We showed up & everything was great to start. The Cabin was cozy & warm with a heater. You have to walk about 100 feet to the bathrooms & kitchen area. This night was VERY windy & the cabin was not really insulated or warm besides the small space heater. I Imagine that during the warmer months it would be nice without wind. The cabin was absolutely freezing & the wind was howling the entire night. There was like banging & the bed was shaking at the wind. It almost felt that the cabin would blow away. So maybe good for the summer months with no environmental issues happening? The bathrooms & kitchen were warm & clean.

Only thing I messaged them the day before the stay because they didn’t send the code for my pod I booked, but they did respond the day off the stay which was a little nerve racking seeing all the reviews about this. I arrived late and my pod had been given to someone else. No problem - a very helpful young man came by and set me up in a different pod. The place is in a spectacular location and the pods are super-comfortable, cozy, and warm. I would stay there again in an instant.

Great experience here, only recommendation is to have the spots labeled, someone parked in the spot for our cabin and we had to park by the front and walk all the way over there.

Great place under the stars with very nice cabin style pods. Shared kitchen was so clean and comfortable as were the showers. Sheep in the hills near by to watch.

Wasn’t expecting much based on previous reviews, and was very glad I was surprised. This turned out to be an amazing stay. Only complaint was that the kitchen area was rather overcrowded which isn’t really anything drastic.

It was a very pleasant surprise. Its reviews were so negative that we tried to cancel. But it was a great place to stay. Although it is close to Route 1, it is remote. If you wish to eat bring you food. We return to the area, we would stay again.

Great rustic stay!

It was great. What a beautiful setting. Not having a washroom in our pod was the only drawback, but we coped. I have no idea how to pay for this room (or if I already did). I’m sure someone will be in contact.

I never received the checkin details despite of several calls and email to the property as well to the Expedia. I had to book another hotel at an emergency level at the last moment. Please DO NOT recommend this property to any Expedia customer here after. They are absolutely not reliable.

This place should be removed from this site. We booked this place 1 month prior to our trip and they said they will email the check in details as it is a self check in. We received 6 digits code 1 day before but the lock were only 4 digits and the cabin number is not given as well. We couldn’t hold to anyone to assist us in the place, the number posted is not working, they’re not even replying to our messages. Thank God we manage to find a new accommodation that night and Expedia refund us the new booking. Otherwise we’ll sleep in our car like homeless!! This almost ruined our trip.

We didn’t even get to sleep in the cabins because checking in was the worst experience ever. They gave us little to no information and no one answered our calls when we tried asking. The keys should have been ready for us but they didn’t even leave them in the lockbox. Probably the worst experience we had in Iceland as a whole.
