“Elm tree cottage was the best stay I’ve had in Yorkshire , I visit often and by far the best place I’ve stayed the hosts were lovely and kind and was great to chat too! The location was perfect in a cute little village on a farm close to Thirsk and an easy drive to York. Providing the essentials for cooking and a cozy little cottage too! Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future! ”

“We where very happy with all facility. Overall the only problem we personally was the 3 steps going in and out of the property. The last step out is very steep and would have liked something to hold on too”

“A very new property in a great location for exploring the city. The apartment has a kitchen with everything you would need for an extended stay including dishwasher and washing machine (with consumables supplied!) Check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We booked a one bed executive apartment which had a large sitting area with kitchen dining facilities and a separate bedroom. The weather was quite hot when we stayed and the only negative is that the sitting……

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“Very nice clean apartment, had everything we needed. It is small but would be perfect for a couple. We managed as a family of 4 and its in a great location not far from York. Bed is super comfy. We had a lovely time.”
