One of the oldest, if not the oldest hotels in Ravenna. Great character, very well maintained with very helpful and pleasant staff. Restaurant with inside/outside seating and great food and drink. Ideally located within easy walk to station and central to the old city Unesco sites, etc. We only stayed one night but regret not staying for more. Next time.

I highly recommend this Alberto! Friendly and courteous staff who really go above and beyond. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant there and the ambiance was perfect!

The staff and hotel were wonderful. Rooms are historical and spacious. The area around hotel is lovely with plenty of things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was delicious.

Everyone and everything at Albergo Cappello was exceptional !!! The morning breakfast receptionist was one of the most genuine persons we have met in over 20 years of travel. I wish I knew her name because she personally made us feel welcome every morning. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious in every way, the wait staff was wonderful as was the afternoon/evening reception. We will remember this stay for many years. Thank you❤️

This is a lovely boutique hotel with gracious hosts and all the amenities. The restaurant is amazing, some of the best food we’ve had in Italy so far! The town is charming and the mosaics at the UNESCO sites are so impressive. Ravenna is also great for people who might not have the best mobility because the historic part of town is small and mostly flat. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful old building. Nice welcome. Friendly employees. Clean, comfortable rooms. There is an elevator to the second floor but then stairs to the third floor. There is a bar and restaurant on sight which opens at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM respectively. Did not eat dinner but the drinks were excellent. Seating on the street in the evening is very charming. Other shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is included and is very nice. If cruising, book transportation to port early. Beautiful little city. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning rooms, built in 1468 it has painted wood ceilings and beautiful Venetian glass chandeliers. Breakfast was included with our suite and was great.

Great location, very hospitable! Was able to get a shuttle right in front of hotel to take us to cruise port. I contacted hotel ahead of time and they sent link for shuttle! Very convenient for night before cruise!

Kurztripp nach Ravenna

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und damit war die Anfahrt tatsächlich sehr herausfordernd. Die Beschreibung die vom Hotel zugesandt wurde, führte uns unweigerlich in die Fußgängerzone, deren Zufahrt bei Strafe verboten ist. Lt. dem Hotelpersonal wird das aber vom Hotel geregelt-schaun wir mal! Das Hotel ist sehr schön renoviert (wenn auch farblich relativ dunkel gehalten), unser Zimmer (102) hatten wir als Superior Zimmer gebucht. Es war sehr klein, wenn auch ordentlich. Die Klimaanlage nicht mehr zeitgemäß, aber wohl nicht anders zu lösen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein ordentliches Hotel ideal für einen Besuch der Altstadt von Ravenna.

We really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Capello. The staff was so kind and helpful, they really made our stay wonderful. The restaurant at the hotel is also great and we enjoyed dining here during our stay. The room was also lovely and so comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here when coming to Ravenna.
