Easy to park, even though it was busy when we arrived (8pm on a Sat Eve), and received a warm welcome at Reception. Room adequate for what were required - a place to stay for a night - but could have been paid a bit more attention - the two chairs in the room were looking tired and threadbare. Bed a little uncomfortable for our liking, so not a great nights sleep for us.

For the price it is hard to beat. Yes it could do with a bit of a refurb but the staff do a great job in making the best of it. The beds are super comfy. The staff are really pleasant and helpful.

I stayed here for two nights for my daughter's wedding which was local. The rooms are clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a bath and over bath shower. The furniture in the room was tatty and really needs replacing. The chair was worn and the veneer was coming off the bedside table however the bed was comfortable and I slept well. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good value for money. There is a Greene King public house which was handy and outside seating and tables available.

Friendly reception All a bit tired and felt like it could do with a really good deep clean. Bed was fine though and location worked for one night stay. Didn’t use the pub next door but served food. Although just off the A4 the room was surprisingly quiet. No air con, but a small fan in the room.
