"My husband and I stayed 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary in the Finger Lakes. While the location was nice, unfortunately we found the accommodations a bit disappointing. There were quite a few ants in the house. We noticed several ant traps that were not doing the job. We would have understood seeing a couple given the summertime amd location, but there were a lot.
While the description of the property states this sleeps up to 4, the two bed options were very uncomfortable. The Queen bed in the loft was not a mattress. It was more like a flat beanbag bed. We knew the area in the loft was small but did not expect the mattress to be like this. My husband and I used the daybed downstairs. The mattresses on the daybed and pull-out were hard to sleep on as they were too soft and could feel the springs. Usually a daybed allows for the pull-out to pop-up to make a full bed, We were unable to do this so one of us slept on the bed and the other on the pull out below close to the floor.
We also were not expecting the strong odor of sulfer in the water. That might be something you want to inform of in the description so people can plan to bring their own water upon arrival. "
