Relaxing Trip

Stunning property

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect. There was a lot going on in town for memorial day weekend, but we were more than content staying at the cabin enjoying the beautiful weather. Would love to come back soon!!

Beautiful property

The Texas Tipi was a great getaway for our family. The property is beautiful! The river in the backyard is so relaxing, and it allowed our family to relax and also get some fishing in. The cabin is very spacious and fully stocked. It's secluded but also only a 10 minute drive from Main Street. We can't wait to stay at this property again!!

Great cabin

This is a great cabin for a family or group. The floor plan allows you to spread out and the bottom floor serves as a good gathering place. The cabin has a babbling brook running along the back of the property. We really enjoyed the fire pit and ability to enjoy the outdoors. There are plenty of kitchen supplies, games, etc as described in the posting. The host is easy to communicate with.

Perfect Stay on the River

The Texas Tipi was the perfect getaway to the mountains of Red River. The house has tons of personality and lots of room for games, meals and movies. We spent hours on the front porch, listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds. Lisa was a fantastic hostess and was extremely responsive to questions and provided many recommendations. 5 STARS for the Texas Tipi!

FANTASTIC cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at the Texas Tipi. It was very cozy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. It is so relaxing by the river and fire pit. I love that it's a bit remote but still an easy 10 minute drive into town. Lisa is super responsive, though we didn't have any issues at all. Everything was just as described, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We will be back next fall!

It was wonderful. Easily exceeded our expectations. My family said it was our best vacation.ever WE had a great time and my grandson .caught a bunch of fish. Not many big ones but lots of them and they were fun to catch. I would imagine we will be back annually. ..

Would live here if I could!

We rented this property along with the modern cabin near by (same lovely owner) for a very small wedding with a very reasonable event fee. A creek runs behind this property and there is a lovely grass area next to it where you can just sit and listen to nature - this is where we had our ceremony. The fireplace in the a-frame looked so amazing we swore to return in the winter when it’s fireplace weather! So worth every penny.

Nice A Frame by a River

This was a fun stay for my family and I. The River right outside was nice and it was fun to fish and just go outside and enjoy it. I do wish there were some blinds in the house for privacy and for the sun in the morning. There was a cabinet that almost fell out of the wall, but I let the property manager know and she said she would have her handy man fix it. There were some crumbs left around the kitchen counter when we got there, but overall it was very clean. The stairs are cool, but definitely want to be cautious on them since no railing. We enjoyed that we got Buzzer tv so we could watch old game shows!

We LOVE staying at the Texas Tipi! This was our second labor day weekend there and wish we could've stayed longer. The house is so comfortable, cozy living room with fireplace and board games, river in the backyard with fire ring. It's the best place for a getaway! The host is amazing!

Amazing place

This is my second time staying at this amazing cabin, and once again, the experience was perfect. The river right in the front yard is truly a 10/10! Lisa is a fantastic host so welcoming and helpful. I’ll definitely be back again!
