「Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly.」

「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. 「Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!」

「Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. 」

「Was greeted at reception by a lovely upbeat and friendly lady, the room was clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great heating. The room also had adjustable A/C which had a wonderful heating option. No faults or problems. 」
