"Spent a week here and enjoyed it. Liked the location, as it is close enough to the tourist area, but far enough away to leave the crowds behind. The street is very quiet (a dead end). "The property was clean and perfecty located to explore this beautiful city. Staff at the office were friendly and helpful. Beds were really comfy. The inclusion of essentials like soap/shower gel/washing up liquid etc was useful for a short stay. There was no oven, only a microwave. The square is lively at night with a bar opposite, but bedrooms are at the back of the flat and with doors & shutters closed the noise is not disturbing. We loved our stay. Thank you"

"This top floor apartment with a loft could not have been better. It is located in Soho, a trendy area near the ocean, with restaurants, cafes, a supermarket etc., within a short walk of just about everything in central Malaga. Visitor center a couple of blocks away. Great location especially if you are a runner or walker. Clean, well-furnished. Ideal for a single, couple or anyone with a couple of kids."

"The best part of this hotel is Scottish/Spanish Dave at the front desk. He was so welcoming, informative, and friendly. This is a great hotel for the rooftop bar/lounge. The walls are rather thin. It’s certainly a scene and a funky vibe. If I were younger and into a party scene, I would have really loved it. The location is right in the middle of shops, restaurants and sights. So that’s great. "Stayed with a friend for a girls weekend. Location was great within easy walking distance of old and new town and marina area. Has a lovely rooftop bar, cafe and pool area. Wouldn’t choose a hotel without that on a city break. Always nice to be back at the hotel for a relax on the roof terrace before changing to head out for an evening. "

"Beachfront with pools in nice residential neighborhood – quiet with wonderful view toward Malaga and the hills beyond. Although located near the airport, plane noise was not an issue. Many choices were offered at the wonderful breakfast and the staff were informative and helpful. The view is incredible – you could see cruise ships moving in and out of Malaga, and the room was very comfortable with a teapot with tea and decaf coffee! Outdoor pools closed early, and indoor pool required a swim cap. One issue – room doors closing was extremely loud. The taxi stop is at this hotel, so a 6 am ride was readily available. They even had coffee and pastries for us to go. Close to Malaga and Torremolinos by bus or taxi. About 15 minutes to the airport. Overall, it was a very nice stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel."
