First time staying here. We enjoyed the deck and the coffee shop. Due to the location, it’s very noisy until midnight or so. Don’t plan on going to bed early. We will bring our dog next time!

Location was perfect...park your car and walk to everything. Our room was in a very quiet part of the property. Never heard anyone above us etc. The room needed a little updating. Sofa was very tired. Wish the rooms had a coffee maker but understand that would be taking away from the on-site coffee shop. Overall was a very enjoyable getaway.

The hotel is definitely aging and needs some care. The soap dish had fallen off in the shower and was not replaced (and there was no other shelf), so there was nowhere to put a bar of soap except on the shower floor. The air conditioning unit was also VERY noisy, which made it hard to sleep. The room was clean, but a bottle of tilex was left in the bathroom by the cleaning staff.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Atlantic Ocean Side Hotel in Dewey Beach for opening weekend! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and all Dewey has to offer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and very helpful. We love how laid-back the atmosphere is and being in the heart of Dewey with all the fun things to do. Anytime we come to Dewey we always stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable, and perfectly located beach escape!
