Great spot

It was homey, but not in a sloppy way. It was comfortable, clean, and very nice for a family group. Practicalities were a breeze and we did not have any problems. We would certainly stay here again!

The house is older and in need of some updating, but for just the two of us and our dogs, it was perfect. It was clean and un-cluttered and convenient. I want to thank the owner for allowing us to bring our pets.

Great location!

This place was the best location, completely walking distance to beach and all the beach bars, shops and eats. The inside was pretty good space-wise, but one queen room was a bit tight. We had 4 adults and 2 babies. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, just be sure to bring oven mits and sharper knives if needed (I was cutting a watermelon). The place could definitely use some paint and a deep floor clean but the furniture was updated and comfy so overall a good place for the price!

Good location, but could have been cleaner

This property is in an excellent location and the rental process was seamless. The house is perfect for families with small children and I appreciated having access to a beach cart and chairs. However, when I arrived I immediately had to wash all of the bed covers as they were covered in stains. It looked as if they hadn't been washed all season. It also seemed like the cleaning crew did the bare minimum as the floors were filthy. I was disappointed that for my one vacation this summer I spent a lot of time doing laundry and cleaning immediately upon my arrival.

The description and photos describe the place well. We found the living room comfortable for our party of 4 adults. The kitchen was servicable for the few meals we cooked ourselves, well stocked with cookware and utensils. Unit is equipped with Comcast cable, and you can get Netflix and Amazon Prime TV if you use your own account. Doing so is easy. We recommend that the owner do something about the bed in the smaller second floor bedroom. It is not supported on one side and feels like you are falling out. Bring your own linens and paper products. The owners were living in a different unit on premises. They were super friendly without being intrusive. We would rent here again with a better bed.

Great experience!

The house has an interesting layout that suited our needs. Clean, quiet, and an excellent location (two blocks to the beach and three short blocks to the strip of restaurants!). There aren't many silly kitchen things (like no shot glasses) and no dishwasher, but those weren't issues for us. Will absolutely stay there again.

This place smelled of must/mold when you walked in. When you sat on the sofa you bottomed out, no support. The furniture was really old. The only positive was the location. We had to buy strong scented candles in order to stay inside. It really needs an update. Then, to top it off a sign was put in front of our house that they were tearing it down. Should have done it sooner, before they got my $

Great location. Nice property.

Quick weekend trip with family and friends. The location was great, close to everything. We walked everywhere. Although the house is definitely older, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our interactions with the owner (it is managed by Remax) were good and they answered all our questions. We loved the front porch and were glad the weather was nice enough that we were able to use it. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog with us for the weekend. All-in-all a great stay. Fantastic value for the location. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Dump or Sh!thole - You Be the Judge

I told my husband it was a dump. He convinced me it is a sh!thole. First we noticed two light fixtures were not working: the front porch light and the light in the back bedroom that you enter to go out the back door. A note says there are light bulbs in the unit, but we found none. One of the lamps in the primary bedroom has a broken on/off switch . The porch door is falling off its hinges. It desperately needs painting. There are so many dead bugs in one outdoor light fixture that almost no light gets through. The walls are damaged and the ceiling has moldy spots. The blue sofa sinks due to its broken seating supports. The dining room chairs are rusted metal. I found a dirty pan in the oven. First floor bathroom in moldy and leaks from the bottom. The broken washing machine in the unit overflowed. After waiting 2 days for a plumber (who never showed up) to come clean it up and fix it, we were told that the washer had been broken for a while; the owner wasn't going to fix it and knew it that it leaked. I was supposed to have been told not to use that washer. They blamed us for using it at all! They directed us to a filthy, cluttered garage washer that had a man’s wet laundry in it that was still there days later. After a rain, the driveway puddling was so bad I couldn't get into my car without wading through 3 inches of muddy water. The landscaping is either dead or overgrown. Other residents leave dog poop in the yard.

End of Summer 2022

We felt scammed. This unit is advertised as a 4 bedroom. What is not TOTALLY clear is that an attic like bedroom is accessed through one of the main bedrooms. The stairway up is very steep and if over 6’ you have to duck or take a head bump. Small window AC just about cooled the room with OAT at 80 degrees. This room should not be called a bedroom due to passage through main bedroom. Very disappointed. The 4th bedroom , single bed, is off the kitchen and has minute bathroom . With the air handler in corner closet , this is a very noisy room and would not cool if the door was closed. The beds were all atrocious. Hard with squeaky mattress box-spring combo. Only slightly better than a GI cot. We all noted and commented on the poor cleaning. Black stains and dust (mold) around ceiling registers. Shelf tops greasy. IN SHORT this unit should be rated a two bedroom of modest condition.
