Location, Location, Location!!!

This house is in the absolute perfect location. Bars and restaurants to the right and the beach to the left!! We walked anywhere and everywhere we had to go. And, as all the action surrounded us, once we were inside this charming little beach cottage, all was calm, quiet and peaceful. My son and daughter and his dog joined us for the first part of the vacation from Sunday - Tuesday and then my girlfriend and her husband joined us from Wednesday- Friday after they left. The house is literally three houses from the beach. Every morning, I was able to walk just steps to the beach to see the sunrise. I’m a photographer and had the opportunity to take some amazing images during our vacation time. The house has plenty of room for four people, beds were super comfortable and the house smelled super clean when we arrived. We had a few days of wicked wind on the beach, so we opted for time on the rooftop deck, which was absolutely awesome. It was warm and cozy up there, and you can literally hear the waves crashing onto the shore from the rooftop. I can’t tell you how many times I close my eyes and drifted off. Unfortunately, our time expired and we had to go home. I would love to come back someday it is a perfect, perfect little cottage!!!!!

Lovely Cottage Wonderful Host

We had a lovely stay at Nancy's little cottage. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Nancy (the Host) was SO accommodating to us. She really makes you feel like you are in your home away from home! Just steps away from the beach and town makes this a perfect location for your vacation. I highly recommend this property!!

Very nice cottage

Great location right next to the beach and several restaurants. Very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Stayed cool inside even on particularly hot days. Host was friendly and communicative.

Adorable

This small cottage was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent as was the parking space. Upon arrival, we discovered that linens were not supplied. This was quite a shock as I did not see that in the listing and have never come across it on any other rental. We were coming from Arizona! After a short pause, we made it work and enjoyed our stay.

The perfect cottage!

This little cottage home was absolutely perfect. The location is amazing. So easy to get to the beach and to walk to many places in Dewey. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The host, Nancy, was also fantastic. She is easy to get ahold of and super accommodating and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. And we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location

The cottage is a perfect location for those who want to spend the day on the beach. It is located near the nightlife in Dewey but far enough off of the main strip that it is also quiet. We all enjoyed the deck on the top of the cottage.

Repeat customers

This is our second trip to cricket cottage and once again, we had a wonderful time! You're so close to everything you need, the beach, shops, restaurants, etc that the car doesn't move all week. Even though you're close to everything and the "heart of the party" the cottage is set back, making it private and quiet. The access to the beach is easy and the outside shower is the best! Great place for our small family and pet! We will go back for sure!

Nancy’s cottage was exactly as described, 90 second walk to the beach, 90 second walk to the restaurants. Perfect home for us and our two dogs. And as always, Dewey Beach itself was beautiful and relaxing! We will be back!

Amazing Little Cabin

The cabin is right around 1200 ft. It’s perfect for a family of 4 with a dog. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, extra trash bags, coffee filters, ice maker AND ice trays, and pots and pans. We weren’t at a loss for anything. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star for cleanliness was due to some sand on the floor upon our arrival-however, I feel like this is more of the fault of the cleaning company and not the fault of the owner. The toilets and bathrooms were very clean. We were steps from the beach and loved the proximity to Starboards and Woodys. Both places had delicious food and something for everyone.

Great place

This was a cute, small place to stay. It’s just 4 of us and our dog, so it fit our needs well. The outside shower was great. Quiet neighborhood and super close to the beach. Parking was a little tight, but we have a truck, so that’s something we are used to. The air conditioners are very loud, but keep the place comfortable. The only cleanliness issue (that wasn’t a big issue) was a lot of dust on the lights, fans, & curtains, but it was clean overall. We would stay here again. It’s a great place.
