「It is a new property attached to the Bodmin Jail, which makes for a convenient visit to that site (the museum and 4D experience as good). The breakfast is very good and the breakfast / bar staff were very nice. The checkin was mixed. I could definitely tell they treat folks booking directly much nicer (the person standing next to me had booked direct) than booking via Expedia. I had to ask them about included breakfast and welcome drink. The Expedia VIP gold perks were not recognized. Morning...

「Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.」

When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels.
