“The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. That also means you have cobblestone streets which still require effort for even the smoothest luggage. The suite we were in was on the 3rd……

“Suite A beautifully furnished room with private terrace with sunloungers and shaded sofa, private hammam, and jacuzzi type bath. Lovely management and staff who were very respectful of guests privacy and relaxation. Very clean throughout the hotel. Ideal area to explore the old town with ease. Many good restaraunts and bars close by. A charming little hotel. I loved it.”

“Everyone was so wonderful! From the moment I’ve arrived Manos made me feel very comfortable- he is amazing. He helped me so many times with any questions or concerns for my travels! Eva was a delight every morning- she was so sweet and attentive, always smiles and just makes your morning so much better - she is like a Rey of sunshine. “This was my favorite boutique hotel, and hotel in general, I've ever stayed in. It's like a little oasis in heaven when you turn off of busy Old Town Rethymno. It's quiet, beautiful, lovely rooms, the courtyard and pool are wonderful. The breakfast is five star perfect. And while we were there, 3 kitten made the courtyard their home. Which made the holiday even more perfect. I'm hoping we will return one day. ”
