“Rooms were large and clean. The staff were great and did all they could to make our stay memorable. The pool was great and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very well done. The only caveat to that was the Tomatini restaurant which to our surprise was a little disappointing. This part of the island flies under the radar and is an absolute gem.”

“Very good and family friendly experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall an excellent stay. The only complaint would be that dinner at 2 of the 4 restaurants felt a little like a conveyor belt where the priority seemed to be getting us fed and out as quickly as possible rather than having us enjoy the dining experience. With that said the experience at the other 2 restaurants was excellent.”

“Excellent hotel , four of us enjoyed an extremely pleasant seven days at the Aquila Porto. We had sixth floor beach-facing rooms - the rooms were a good size, bathroom was clean, air-conditioning a god-send, very quiet and easy to sleep at night. The beach across the road is well-kept, no problem securing sun loungers. Sea can be a bit choppy but that's not the hotel's fault! The Aquila Porto's two main selling points are (1) the food. Its not the largest buffet we'd ever seen but its by……

“We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely! The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night. We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!”

“We stayed in the suite which was a great size had a lovely large wrap around balcony with fabulous views of the beach and a hot tub. The ac in the room was a noisy unit. Bed was ok and they provided extra bedding, robes and slippers which was a nice touch. Plenty of storage space. Good location. Breakfast was ok not the best for my taste, no fresh juice and the coffee was not the greater, however plenty of fresh fruit.”
