Room and facilities were generally clean and at the top end of what you would expect given the price. A bed, toilet, and shower in the centre of Reykjavik was what we were looking for and that is what we got.
Lovely location downtown where you can get picked up for a tour out front, cook for yourself, and stay at a reasonable price while you explore Iceland. Independence and good value.
Good services provided when we arriving and called, we received good answers when we're asking for the suggestions on our dining, shopping, and attractions around.
Perfect amazing location (restaurants in the area, next to tourist areas), room w comfy bed & basin (loved this!), kitchen (fridge) could be a bit cleaner but ppl should also clean after themselves
Front desk staff was very friendly and very helpful. Easy walk to sea front or to town center. room was small bed was very confortable. i would stay there again
Have had a couple of stays here now. Great location, close to supermarket and second hand stores. Short walk to the downtown and harbor area. Lots of restaurants nearby
Definitely a good and safe place for solo travelers! I will say the bed had a loose board that I poked my finger on a couple times but outside of that the views from my room were stunning!
Great budget hotel in a great location. Only issue I’d say is it doesn’t appear the greatest from the outside and you might wonder where you’re going but it was perfectly acceptable inside
The location of 101 Guesthouse is great. Walkable distance to lots of shops and restaurant on the Main Street of Reykjavik. The receptionist is so nice that she allows me to check in a bit earlier upon my arrival so that I can save time for sightseeing. The room is not spacious but enough for one or two nights stay.

Great location with bus stop no.9 right across the street and easy access to shopping street and 24/7 convenience store. Some facility looks a bit old but clean and acceptable considering the price.
Stayed here for 2 nights for 4 person in a room.
What I like about this place is that they have kitchen equipment that u can cook, easy access to restaurants and shopping in 5-10 mins walk
There is flybus and gray line bus that goes to the airport in 3am in the morning that is just across the road; very convenient indeed.
Customer service is excellent with friendly staff and very helpful.

Simple no frills gem for the $
Exceptional friendly staff, comfortable bed, great views, great location.
simple no frills room, very basic yet, good value. Towels very thin tattered and only 2 provided. We were only there for a few hours so not important. Excellent breakfast options either at Guesthouse or close by.

Walking Distance to Main City
Good location but the street outside was quite noisy with traffic all night. Friendly staff and easy to access.
Basic room and kitchen was a bit dated.
Overall was ok for a nights stay
