ibis Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof
10/10 Excellent
"Great value for money and the on site parking was great. Good location, we enjoyed the walk into the old town."

Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg-Walldorf
10/10 Excellent
"Just a really welcoming place. Nice pool with open air bar. Air conditioning in room wasn't great but there was a great fan. Food in restaurant a bit pricey but nice burger. Free mint & lemon water, nibbles & sweets near reception. Loads of TV channels from all over the world & good WiFi. Parking included on site. Breakfast skipped, again a bit pricey. A lovely bar of chocolate each, free on leaving. The receptionist was particularly good."

"It was good. Breakfast was free because the window wouldn’t lock so the air conditioner didn’t work."

Holiday Inn Mannheim City - Hauptbahnhof by IHG
8/10 Good
"First room had no A/C. So, we changed rooms. 2nd room had one set of towels for 2 people. They brought another set promptly. Breakfast was ok. Pancakes were cold. There was no waffle maker. But there were plenty of breads/pastries. There were no direction signs to get there. The train station was under construction, so the path to get there was not easy. After finding it the first time, it was easy to find later."

"Was having a good time staying there, very helpful stuff and clean rooms"

Hotel Bayrischer Hof
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Accessing all of the tourist locations as well as prime restaurants was easy as could be. The only thing that could be improved would be adding air conditioning to the rooms. The staff was very pleasant and eager to help us during our stay. We would definitely come back."

B&B Hotel Heidelberg
10/10 Excellent
"Overall great experience. Clean. Comfortable. We had a triple room and all the amenities were well maintained. The breakfast buffet was an excellent value ."

Premier Inn Heidelberg City Centre
2/10 Terrible
"No USB ports in the room so it’s a nightmare to charge your phones or laptops if you don’t have a power adapter. Very tiny rooms. You are warned! Location was great with a grocery store on the ground floor. 7-10 minutes walk to the old town. Front desk was friendly and one guy from New York was super helpful! Thank you!"

Hilton Heidelberg
8/10 Good
"TLDR: a comfortable hotel with a great gym and a few minor annoyances. Inconsistent shower temperature, shower flooding, and TVs with no ability to stream or cast. The hotel has an exorbitant credit card hold off €50 per night. The Hilton Heidelberg has comfortable beds, quality linens, and black out curtains. It makes for a fairly comfortable sleep. The room still has the archaic power key required for the room. This would be fine if the card wasn't lifted up when room cleaning takes place, as this turns the fridge off (thankfully my things survived, but the fridge shouldn't be on that control). The shower was a mixed bag. It has two shower head options with ok pressure. Regularly, the shower will have temperature changes for a split second before returning to normal. The glass screen is also too short and the silicone strip used to prevent flooding onto the bathroom floor is a poor solution. The TV is a large and modern LG flat screen. This would be excellent except that in true Hilton form, all streaming and casting is blocked. I asked about this and the receptionist told me that they are not smart TVs. (The "apps" and "smart" button on the TV remote say otherwise). I was advised of only 3 English language channels on the TV. It is absurd that in 2026, a 5 star international hotel chain cannot allow guests to cast their devices to the TV. One free water is provided to the rooms each day. The gym is quite new and features dumbbells to 20kg (up to 25 or 30 would be be"
